Dyrus(Dye-rus) - Owner
Dyrus, a native of Chicago, Illinois, relocated to Jackson in 2014. With over 5 years of dog training experience, he has cultivated a deep appreciation for the exceptional loyalty and affectionate nature of canine companions. Dyrus currently owns three American Bullies, who assist him in his training endeavors.
What we offer
Puppy Basic/Potty training
Puppies can begin their training journey at Syke Kennels as early as 12 weeks of age, once they have completed their required vaccinations. Early potty training is a vital part of a puppy’s development. Our professional trainers will help your puppy establish a consistent potty schedule and learn to eliminate outdoors only, using structured and controlled environments. In addition to potty training, we focus on building a strong foundation of basic obedience skills, setting your puppy up for long-term success
Basic Obedience Training
Teach your dog basic commands like sit, stay, come, and heel with our obedience training programs. Our expert trainers use positive reinforcement techniques to make learning fun for your dog.
E-collar Training (per request)
Take your dog's obedience skills to the next level with e-collar obedience training to give your dog more freedom and ditching traditional leashes. Our trainers can teach your dog more complex commands and behaviors, such as off-leash training and recall.
Protection Training
Is your dog a natural protector? Or you want to give proper protection training Our protection training programs can help your dog excel in areas like bite work, obedience, and focus . Our trainers can create a custom training plan to help your dog reach their full potential.
Behavior Modification

Our 4-week Puppy Board & Train program is designed for puppies ages 12 weeks to 5 months and focuses on building a strong foundation for a lifetime of success. This program is perfect for puppies needing structure, consistency, and help learning the basics early on.

The 3-Week Board & Train Program at Syke Kennels Training LLC is designed to help dogs build obedience, confidence, structure, and better overall manners through daily hands-on training in a safe and structured environment.
This program focuses on:

Dogs will work on improving listening skills, engagement, calmness, and responsiveness both inside and outside the home using positive reinforcement-based training methods.
